What is the role of a Hotel Manager?

A Hotel Manager is responsible for the entire operations of the hotel, ensuring satisfaction of clients as well as other stakeholders.

On successful completion of the course, what are the levels at which I may join?
Depending upon the competencies, one may find oneself:
  At entry level
  As operational trainee (after which one jumps into the supervisory level)
  As management trainee (usually absorbed into the management level later)
 
What is the expected remuneration in this field?

The CTC range varies between 10 K and 22K for a fresher.

What is the minimum educational eligibility criterion for joining a course at DSMS?
10+2 or its equivalent, from a recognized board or body in India.
 
Can a foreign student enroll at DSMS?
Yes, provided his 10+2 certificate is recognized as per the rules.
 
What about ragging at DSMS?
At DSMS, we boast of entirely “ragging- free” environment, as our Anti Ragging Committee takes the issue very seriously.
 
Will the college help me in securing bank loan?
DSMS has a tie up with SBI for students loan which may help you to get the loan from SBI. However , you may apply to any bank as per your convenience.
 
Does the curriculum include an Industrial Training?
Yes, a 20-22 weeks Industrial Training is part of curriculum, where, depending upon the hotel’s policies, one may get a stipend. However, all expenses during the training are borne by the student.
